Rachel Holland Special Events, LLC, a premier event planning and consulting company, represents clients who are looking for attention to detail and personalized service for their events and projects. We work with our clients to make the event reflect their sense of style and sophistication by doing the research and labor for them. We work with high quality, professional vendors and provide you with exceptional affairs that you and your guests will remember forever. We work both with individuals and businesses to make events successful and use a holistic approach to event planning which includes incorporating location and vendor expertise with ours in order to coordinate all efforts. Our consulting clients task us with issue campaigns, political campaign consulting and business development. We offer personalized service to each client to assist with their specific objectives.
Rachel Holland, owner of Rachel Holland Special Events, has been planning events in New Jersey for over 18 years. She began her career in government, planning and coordinating daily events for, and personally accompanying the Governor of New Jersey. She expanded her expertise in event planning as Media Events Manager for NJ TRANSIT, the third largest transit organization in the United States. She founded Rachel Holland Special Events in 2005 after several people came to her for independent help with social and corporate events. Rachel has also kept her hand in local and grass roots government and politics by coordinating and consulting for corporate issue campaigns and smaller political races. Rachel has a BA in Political Science from Drew University and a Masters in Governmental Affairs from the Fels Institute at the University of Pennsylvania. In her social planning capacity, Rachel is a past member of ISES, International Society of Event Specialists. She is also an active member of the community serving on the Boards of Directors for the Girl Scouts of Central and Southern New Jersey as Vice Chair, former Chair of the Young Professionals Foundation Board at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital Hamilton, Chair of the Hamilton Area YMCA Board of Directors and the Vice Chair of Lakeview Child Center.
